Friday Randomness

This post is full of randomness......enjoy!

• I am sooo glad it's finally Friday!  I thought this week was NEVER going to end.  The first week back to work after Christmas break always sucks.  At least this one was only a 4 day week.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas break, but it is always sooooo hard to get back in a routine.

• The Cotton Bowl is tonight and we are going over to a friend's house to cheer on the #6 Razorbacks as they hopefully crush #8 Kansas State.  Scott and I watched a special on TV last night that one of the news stations put on and they are calling this game "Better than the BCS."  I'd say after the the ass whipping that West Virginia gave to Clemson in the Orange Bowl, this will be a much better game. 

•  Today is 1st Friday @ CrossFit which is where you get to pick your own workout.  I scanned the Girl and HERO WOD's on CrossFit's website and eventually decided on Helen.  I knew I wanted something with pull-ups.  I first thought would doing Barbara and scaling it to 3 rounds.  This was Monday's WOD, but since I was little under the weather I ended up not going to class. So Helen it is....3 rounds - 400m run, 21 kettlebell swings, 12 pull-ups

• Remember several months ago when I was trying to decide if I wanted to run the 1/2 marathon b/c I really wanted a 13.1 magnet for my car like Scott had?  Well I finally found one a few weeks ago that was black and would stand out on my white SUV. 

• The weather here has been unusually warm lately.  It's been in the 60's for the last several days and todays HI is almost 70.  Gotta love this crazy Arkansas weather!
