5 Things Friday

• As I was checking Twitter yesterday morning, I found out that Miley Cyrus is engaged.  Isn't she like 15? Apparently she is 19.  I'm not sure if I will ever be able to think of her as an adult. 


• Wednesday night after work our friends Matt and Lindsey called to see if we wanted to go with them on their boat on the river and watch the sun set.  It was a awesome night for a boat right and the sunset was beautiful.

• When it comes to work, I try my hardest to be nice to everyone.  I try to treat people the way I want to be treated.  I think this has backfired on me.  I have a few people who now call me for every little thing and have it in their head that I am the only person capable of helping them and that none of my staff can do it correctly.  This becomes a huge waist of my time.  We are all adults, we have grown-up jobs.  Please act accordingly.


• Tomorrow is Crossfit for Hope (a WOD/fundraiser for St. Jude).  We are joining forces with Rock City and we are also celebrating the 1 year anniversary of our crossfit box being open.  Sadly, I won't be participating, but I will be there cheering everyone else on.  I'm going to attempt to start back to crossfit on Monday and go light the 1st few workouts to see how I feel.  Crossfit for Hope is a tough workout and I didn't want to start back full force.


• I am soo glad it's Friday.  This has seemed like the LONGEST week ever.  That could be b/c I haven't been able to workout and have just gone home everyday after work, not sure.  We are going to dinner tonight to celebrate 2 of Scott's friends birthdays (which were both yesterday).  Happy Friday!!
