Twitter

So for the past year or however long it has been since Twitter became popular, I have been holding out and refusing to jump on the bandwagon.  I mean could it really be that much different than Facebook?  Do you really want to know EVERY detail and thought that people have?  Is there any way it could actually be addictive?  About a month ago, Scott told me he had joined Twitter or "Tweeter" as he refers to it.  He wasn't really interested in tweeting, but following some people.  I thought....what the heck...why not?  It can't be that bad.  It took me a few days to really figure it out and understand how to use it.  I actually read most of the manual you can access from your Twitter app on my iPhone.  To be honest, I am still trying to figure it all out.  At first I was skeptical.  I wasn't sure I even liked it.  But now....I'm addicted.  It is soo cool to be able to follow people whose blogs you read or charities you like or magazines or celebrities or even the local news stations....practically anyone you can imagine.  And even though I don't really have anything interesting to say, I have even starting tweeting a little myself instead of just reading every body else.

I mean who thought it would be fun to follow Bill and Giuliana Rancic as they vacationed in Italy?  I sure didn't.  But I have and it has been fun.  Just one more thing to keep my addicted to my iPhone.

Happy Tweeting!

My sister thinks I am crazy because I have a twitter. Why would anyone want to know what you are doing at any given time she asks. I like keeping up with those little snippets that aren't enough to write an entire blog post about though.

One of my favorite things about twitter has been getting weather alerts- often times I may not have the tv or radio on, but I generally will have twitter open in one window on my computer and always on my phone.
